BookedOps

One flat price. Busy season does not change it.

Most shops land between $299 and $999 a month, plus a one-time setup. We quote it after we hear your call volume. Quoting it before would be a guess.

The setup is a one-time fee. We quote it with the monthly, after we hear your call volume.

What moves you up or down the range

  • How many calls a week you take. This is the main one, and it is why we ask before we quote.
  • Whether you want it after hours only, or on the line all day.
  • How many people are in the on-call rotation it has to page.
  • Whether you need more than one trade or location on the same number.

What flat actually means.

Four promises. Each of them is a thing somebody else in this category charges you for.

  • One flat monthly price.
  • No charge per call, and no charge per transfer.
  • A heat wave does not change your bill.
  • You are not billed for spam or wrong numbers.

The reason this matters more than it sounds: most of this category bills per call, and some bill again every time a call is transferred to you. Your volume spikes in a heat wave, a freeze or a storm. That is exactly when the bill lands, and exactly when a surprise on it hurts most. A pricing model that punishes you for a busy week is not a service problem, it is the model.

What is included, at any price.

There is no tier where emergency escalation is an upsell. That would be a strange thing to sell separately.

If one of those is the thing you actually need, tell us on the audit call. We would rather lose the sale than take money for a roadmap.

Is it worth it for you?

Put in your own numbers rather than taking ours. We show the arithmetic.

Put your four numbers in.

We will show you the arithmetic, every step of it, and what it adds up to. No industry averages, because the ones in circulation do not hold up.

What this number is not
  • Your numbers, not ours. Nothing here is pre-filled from an industry average.
  • It assumes every missed call was a real job you would have won at your usual rate.
  • Plenty of people who get voicemail ring back, or ring you three times. Those are all counted here as separate lost jobs, so the real figure is lower.
  • It counts revenue, not profit. Your margin comes off the top of this.
  • Wrong numbers, robocalls and existing customers are all in your call count too.
  • Rounded hard on purpose. Four estimates multiplied together do not produce an exact figure.

The money questions.

Why will you not just publish a price list?

Because the number depends on your call volume, and a table would either be wrong for most people or so wide it tells you nothing. The range on this page is honest: most shops land inside it, and you will know your exact number after one call.

What is the setup fee for?

Writing the intake for your trade, connecting your calendar, setting up the on-call order, and testing it until it behaves. It is one time, it is quoted up front, and it is the reason there is nothing for you to configure.

What happens if my volume doubles?

Nothing, within reason. If your business genuinely grows into a different size of operation we will have a conversation about it, rather than quietly adding overage to your invoice. A heat wave is not that conversation.

Is there a contract?

Month to month. We would rather keep you because it works than because you are locked in. Tell us on the call if you need something different.

Cheaper tools exist. Why are you more?

They do, and some of them are good. The difference is that they hand you a dashboard and you build it yourself, and most of them have no real on-call escalation. If you have the time and the inclination to configure one, you may genuinely be better off. This is for owners who do not.

What if it does not work out?

You keep your number the whole time, so moving away is a forwarding change rather than a migration. Ask us on the call what we do with your recordings and transcripts if you leave, and we will tell you straight.
